Come & Pass Line Bets: Strategizing the game
There are many possible ways of making a bet in the game of craps. For the more daring gamblers who like it fast paced, the pass line bet is the best strategy to use; making a pass line bet means making a bet on every dice roll.
Experienced craps players are familiar with this bet and they know that it usually results in the best return among the other bets on the table. Waiting for one's point number to be rolled is a tedious down time, that's why players would rather make new bets per dice roll to keep themselves occupied. For the patient and those with high tolerance, they can wait until the right point number is achieved.
The strategy for making a pass line bet is to take the odds and place a come bet when a point number has been made. Whenever a new point umber is made for the placed come bet, take the odds and place another com bet on the point number. If the player's luck is on his side, his point numbers will be rolled straight out, but this only happens on a rare occasion.
Whenever one of the point numbers from a come bet is rolled out, the player will win the payout regardless of the odds. The payout for a come bet is 1 to 1. Take note that this is a favorable instance and profit will only be made if the point numbers have been rolled out before a seven is rolled. If a seven comes up from a roll, it will definitely wipe off all the bets that the player has on the table.
The up side about making this kind of strategy is the quick way it can make lots of money even when playing on a low limit table. The down side is that when a lone seven comes up on a roll, it can easily blow away all the chips on the table; large or small amount of chips, there's just no stopping it.
It is advisable to make the pass line and come bets at a minimum, approximately 2% of one's bankroll at a time. Placing more the 2% is quite risky especially when a seven come out and blows the chips, leaving the player with only a few to cover all available odds. Try not to take all the available odds with both your come and pass line bets since these will consume your entire bankroll in the process.
